How do you feel about clients starting the conversation before they’re ready to purchase?

I think it's incredibly important to do so! You want to be prepared for when that perfect place comes on the market. If you want to buy within 12 months, start the pre-qual process at the very least.

Where and how do you typically connect with clients?

All over! A lot of my clients come from my referral sources - so realtors, financial advisors, CPAs, etc. - in the Chicagoland area. I also work with online leads and referrals from past clients.

What documents do your clients need to start the process?

None. I would much rather hop on a call with a client to hear more about their timeline, goals, & budgets. The paperwork comes later on, and shouldn't be the priority on day one.

How do you provide rate quotes for clients who want to protect their credit score?

I always start with a soft credit pull and try to avoid the hard pull until a client is under contract. You shouldn't get your score dinged for a pre-approval.

What should clients expect when working with you from start to finish?

Constant communication via their preferred method. Want to text from pre-approval to closing? That works for me. Prefer to pick up the phone? Call me, I will answer on nights and weekends.
