Personal service and not traditional bankers hours. I share my cell phone with all clients- as the mortgage process when buying or refinancing often dictates evening or weekend conversations.
I like to start with a phone call for 10 to 15 minutes. We will discuss their target price and payment range, income, assets and credit score first. I don't typically pull credit first thing.
l like both first time buyers and experienced home owners. That's the fun part - each call on each day is a bit different, and helping each person achieve their goal with a mortgage is satisfying.
I do have contacts for Real Estate Agents, contractors, home improvement specialists, financial planners, title and insurance companies. Trusted and proven professionals to share as needed.
I thinks it's absolutely the right thing to do. Planning and knowing as much as you can about the loan process and market is ideal.
