My journey began in Czechia, where my family and I escaped communism in 1986 when I was just 10 years old. We settled in Silicon Valley and spent three decades in the restaurant business—an experience that taught me the value of hard work, service, and community. I pursued my education at the University of Michigan and later earned my degree in Business Administration from St. Mary's College in 2000
