A majority of my business is generated from past customer referrals and reviews on Google. Some is realtor based referrals
Transparency. Everything from the fees associated with obtaining a mortgage, to the mortgage process involved. From preapproval to closing and everything in between. My borrowers are informed.
Generally speaking, I need proof of income- pay stubs W2s tax returns. A credit report will be necessary if the borrower requires a preapproval.
I believe that is being prepared. I have worked with clients who do not believe they are ready to buy just yet. After a conversation, they see they might be able to pursue buying a new home sooner.
I ask them if they know what their credit score might be. Then I'll provide a quote using that score. I may also use a soft pull if they prefer.
