I started as a loan officer in Sonoma County 21 years ago and have built a knowledge base of mortgage loans that is unmatched by any of my local peers. My expertise extends through most loan products including FHA, VA, Conventional and non-qualified mortgages for investors and the self-employed. I often pick up clients who were told no by a traditional bank, only to come up with a solution to their problem and close on a property that they wanted. I am certified in VA home lending as well.

The first-time homebuyer that come in with a "clear slate." They've never been through the process before and need someone to go through all of the steps necessary to become homeowners.
I typically never pull a credit report for a client until I have to (when they go into contract to purchase a home). I utilize a soft-pull service for an initial peek at a client's credit profile.
To start the process, I simply need a good conversation to get at what is important. I do not typically gather documents until later in the process since they have a short shelf life and expire.
However the client wants to connect. Can be a phone call but often I connect in person. They either come to my office, or I go to them. I enjoy travelling to clients when needed.
They will be fully educated about the process early with all questions thoroughly answered and then expect communications like they've never seen before. I typically send daily updates.
