I utilize a soft credit pull to protect our customer's credit score first and foremost while also asking when their last hard credit pull was because it's useful if it was within the past 30 days.
I'm happy to discuss the customer's financial situation and give them advice on how to improve their credit score so they qualify for a better rate moving forward. I have many tools for that.
I love it and encourage it! The sooner I can talk to a client and give them advice the better their purchase experience will be. The better a rate they can qualify for with a better credit score.
Client's should expect honesty, both ways. They should expect open and clear communication lines. They should know I will never sit on work, I will complete tasks the second I receive them.
Exactly the same way I work with clients in state! The entire process is done over the computer, phone and over zoom. The in-person event is with the notary for closing. It's faster and more accurate!
