Michael Markoff at NewMark Mortgage was truly the cornerstone of realestate purchase! My Fiance and I were first-time buyers and, honestly, we had no idea what we did not know. We had been pre-approved somewhere else first, but the experience felt cold and transactional. Michael was the complete opposite. From the first phone call, he was patient, thorough, honest, and completely invested in helping us understand the process. He was always a phone call or text away, whether it was morning, night, a lending question, or a general homebuying panic. He explained the numbers in a way that actually made sense, fought hard to get us the best rate, helped keep our closing costs manageable, and made sure we were buying within our means. He was professional, but also warm & real....the kind of person who makes you feel like you have known them your entire life. This mattered so much in a process as stressful & emotional as buying a home. I simply cannot recommend Michael and NewMark Mortgage enough. Although I hope we do not buy another house anytime soon.....when we do, there is no question who we will call. A million out of ten. (and I don't say that lightly!) You rock Michael - thank you!!!!
