I have been working with mortgages in Minnesota since 2015. I work a lot with first time homebuyers which gives me the opportunity to educate people about mortgages as this isn't something that most people are learning in school. When they are ready to purchase another home, it has been a pleasure to work with them again, go over things that have changed, and help them find the mortgage that is the best fit for them.

I strongly recommend this! By talking with a loan officer before they are ready to purchase, borrowers are able to start planning ahead to get a better idea on what to expect when they are ready.
I most often connect with clients via phone, email, or Zoom, but I am happy to meet in person as well if that is preferred.
Though not required, for borrowers that don't have a fixed salary, having the chance to look at a recent paystub and prior year W-2 or year-end paystub is helpful to calculate income more accurately.
Many buyers have agents they are working with already, and I am happy to work with them. If not, I like to recommend those I have experience with and know do a good job for their clients.
